Daquan Jackson selected as Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Rookie of the Week

The Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference announced its weekly award winners for the period of Monday, October 28 through Sunday, November 3, and Berkeley College was represented by freshman Daquan Jackson, as the standout earned the conference's Rookie of the Week distinction.

Jackson, a freshman forward out of the Bronx, earned the recognition by putting forth an incredible effort in Berkeley's loss to Midway University this past Saturday. In that defeat, Jackson went off for a 21-point (8-16 FG), 13-rebound double-double and got it done defensively with two blocks and a steal in a loss to Midway University.

Berkeley will return to the court on Saturday, November 16, as the Knights will take on Bryant & Stratton-Syracuse. The game will serve as Berkeley's home opener, and the contest will take place at the Borough of Manhattan Community College. Start-time is scheduled for 2:00pm.
