The Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference announced its weekly awards for the period of August 28 through September 3, and the Berkeley College New York men's soccer team was represented by Jean-Gardy Derineau, as he was named to the conference's Honor Roll for the week.

Jean-Gardy Derineau earned a place on the Honor Roll thanks to his tremendous performance in the Knights' season-opening victory against Fisher College back on September 1 at Hormel Stadium in Medford, MA. The sophomore midfielder from Valley Stream, NY scored both of Berkeley's goals in that victory, serving as an offensive force in leading his team to a terrific triumph to start a new campaign.

The Knights resume their 2018 season this weekend, as Berkeley will face the University of Maine at Fort Kent on Saturday afternoon, before taking on Thomas College on Sunday.
