The Berkeley College New Jersey men's soccer team suffered just its second loss in the month of October, falling today to the Cougars of Camden County College by a score of 2-1. With the defeat, the Knights slipped to 6-9 on the 2018 campaign, while the Cougars improved to an impressive mark of 13-2-1.

The Knights took a 1-0 advantage in this game in the 29^th minute when Ichiaka Doumbia scored a penalty kick goal. Berkeley held that slim advantage until the 70^th minute when Lucas Pecegueiro would find the back of the net (off a lead pass from Ismail Kaya) to tie the game at one apiece.

Camden County College would take the lead for good in the 87^th minute when Kaya would score the difference-making goal (assisted by Pecegueiro). That put the Cougars up 2-1, a lead they would not relinquish.

Berkeley will look to bounce back on Thursday afternoon, as the Knights will take to the road to battle Albany College of Pharmacy. Start-time for the contest is scheduled for 4:30pm.
