Men's cross country runner Carlos Lopez tabbed as HVIAC Rookie of the Week

The Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference announced its weekly cross country award winners for the period of Monday, September 16 through Sunday, September 22 on Tuesday morning, and Berkeley College's men's cross country program was represented by Carlos Lopez, as he was selected as the Rookie of the Week.

Lopez earned the honor after finishing the Fred Pavlich Invitational (8K) at Bard College in 40:23 this past Sunday in Annadale-on-Hudson, NY. The freshman was the 177th runner to cross the tape on the afternoon.

The Berkeley College men's cross country team will return to action on Saturday, October 5, as it will compete in the Highlander Cross Country Challenge at Branch Brook Park in Newark, NJ. Start-time is scheduled for 11:00am.
