It was a great bounce-back victory for the Knights after Berkeley College suffered a one-point defeat at the hands of Alfred State this past Saturday. In tonight's win for the Knights, four players scored in double figures, including Akiah Luceus, as she connected on 10 of her 14 attempts from the floor to finish with a team-high 23 points. She also snatched 15 rebounds while adding a game-high five assists.

She also collected nine rebounds and contributed two assists. Janera Roper recorded a double-double with 13 points and a game-high 16 rebounds, and Jaiyamoira Myers added 10 points, five rebounds, four assists, and three steals.

The Knights connected on 45.5 percent of their attempts from the floor (30-66) while holding the Warriors to a 28.4 percent conversion rate (19-67). Berkeley absolutely dominated Vaughn College on the glass, out-rebounding the Warriors 61-37. The Knights also recorded 19 assists compared to nine for the opposition, and Vaughn won the turnover battle, committing 20 miscues while forcing 28 Berkeley College mistakes.

Despite the loss for Vaughn College, Maia Rivers netted a game-high 27 points to go along with team-highs of seven rebounds, four steals, three assists, and two blocks. Kayla Bryant also contributed 18 points, five rebounds, a pair of assists, and two steals, as well.

The Knights will return to action tomorrow evening, as Berkeley College will play the Pioneers of Pratt Institute in another Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference contest. Start-time at the Pratt Activities Resource Center in Brooklyn, NY, is scheduled for 6:30pm.
