The Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference announced its women's basketball weekly award winners for the first time during the 2019-2020 campaign on Tuesday morning, and Berkeley College newcomer Daniella Wood was selected as the conference's Rookie of the Week.

The 5'8 freshman forward earned the recognition following her tremendous effort in the Knights season opener this past Friday against the College of St. Elizabeth in Morristown, New Jersey. In Berkeley's 74-57 defeat, the standout tied for the game-high with 22 points and led all players with 22 rebounds for a big double-double. She also swatted two shots, as well.

Berkeley College will return to action on Wednesday evening, November 13, as the Knights travel to Brooklyn, NY to clash with Pratt Institute. Start-time is scheduled for 8:00pm.
