The Berkeley College women's basketball team picked up an easy victory on Monday evening, defeating Webb Institute by a score of 83-15. The game took place in Glen Cove, NY. With the victory, the Knights evened their record at 2-2, while the Webbies slipped to 0-4 on the 2019-2020 campaign.

Tonight served as the Knights biggest margin of victory since back on February 15, 2015, when Berkeley College demolished Pratt Institute by a score of 101-18, back when Pratt was in the Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.

Berkeley led the contest by 39 points at the break, and 55 after three quarters, before eventually outscoring Webb 19-6 in the final period to account for the 68-point triumph.

Six players scored in double figures for Berkeley, including Daniella Wood, as she led all scorers with 19 points (8-15 FG). She also added 10 rebounds and six steals. Amirah Green showered tremendous versatility, netting 17 points while posting game-highs of 13 rebounds, eight assists, and seven steals. Sabriana Franck contributed 15 points, and Ebony Lofton, Kaina Martinez, and Jordan Washington all finalized their evenings with 10 points apiece.

Despite the loss for Webb Institute, Kasey Kennedy fell just short of a double-double, as she posted team-highs of eight points and 11 rebounds.

The Knights dominated in practically every facet of this one. Berkeley converted on 48.7 percent of its shots (37-76) while holding the Webbies to just seven baskets (7-46, 15.2 percent from the floor). Berkeley outrebounded Webb 52-28, while also winning the turnover battle, committing just 12 on the evening while forcing 33 Webbies mistakes. The Knights were able to swing the ball well, recording 23 assists on the night, compared to just five for the opposition.

Berkeley will return to action on Saturday afternoon, as the Knights will travel to Boston, MA to take on Fisher College. Start-time for the contest is scheduled for 2:00pm.
