The game took place at CCNY's Nat Holman Gymnasium in Upper Manhattan. With the defeat, the Knights dipped to a mark of 6-8 on the 2023-2024 campaign, while the Bobcats improved to a record of 7-4.

Prior to the game, the Berkeley College Department of Athletics took a few moments to honor seniors Denise Maldonado-Jones and Cherokee Wheeler in a heartfelt ceremony. Both student-athletes were presented with commemorative basketballs and trophies by President Diane Recinos, Vice President of Student Development and Campus Life Sherrille T. Shabazz Ed.D., and Head Women's Basketball Coach Candice DeRisi.
