John Guagliardo was hired by Berkeley College in June of 2015. He is entering his third season as the Head Coach of the institution's women's soccer team.

Guagliardo joined the Berkeley College athletics staff following a successful tenure at the College of Staten Island, where he served as the institution's Head Women's Soccer Coach for the first 11 years of the program's existence (2004-2014). During his tenure there, the Dolphins compiled an overall record of 116-76-9 (.607 winning percentage) and dominated on a regional level. His success – as well as his passion for the sport of soccer – makes him an excellent addition for Berkeley College.

At Staten Island, Guagliardo led the Dolphins to a total of six City University of New York Athletic Conference championships (2004-2008, 2011) and five Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference appearances (2008, 2011-2014). He also paced CSI to back-to-back appearances in the Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference title games (2005 runner-up, 2006 titlist).

Guagliardo's ability to identify and recruit student-athletes is evidenced by his success doing so at Staten Island. During his tenure as the Dolphins' Head Coach, Guagliardo produced five Eastern Regional Division III All-Americans. Additionally, 46 of his student-athletes were tabbed as City University of New York All-Stars over an 11 year span (an average of just over four student-athletes per season).

A coach for over two decades, Guagliardo also served as a coach at Notre Dame Academy High School on Staten Island, where he spent 14 years.  While he was on the staff, the team won multiple division and city championships, and was a state finalist in 2003.  In addition, Guagliardo has guided numerous travel programs, most recently coaching the Staten Island Select Under-17 squad to a semifinal berth in the USA Cup, where the squad fell to eventual-champion team Canada, 1-0.
