Offensive standout Deylon Bovell named Co-Player of the Week by the Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference

The Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference announced its weekly award winners for the period of Monday, November 5 through Sunday, November 11, and Berkeley College was represented by junior Deylon Bovell, as the standout was tabbed as one of the Co-Players of the Week.

The junior earned the recognition thanks to his performances in the Knights' 2-0 output this past weekend. After a modest eight-point, five-rebound, four-steal performance in Berkeley's 79-72 triumph over the University of Rio Grande, the Brooklyn, NY native turned in a gem the following day against West Virginia Tech. In the Knights' 121-117 double overtime victory over the Golden Bears, Bovell put on an incredible performance by scoring a team-high 32 points on 10-of-15 shooting from the floor. In the process, he connected on three of his five shots from beyond-the-arc, while also hitting nine of his 14 attempts from the line.

Berkeley College will return to action on November 23, as they will battle Campbellsville University at the Powell Athletic Center in Campbellsville, Kentucky. Start-time for that contest is scheduled for 6:00pm.
