New York men's soccer team blanked again, falling to Keystone College by a score of 1-0 in La Plume, PA

The Berkeley College New York men's soccer team was held off the scoreboard for the second consecutive game, falling to the Giants of Keystone College by a score of 1-0 Saturday afternoon at Keystone's Turf Field Complex in La Plume, PA. With the defeat, the Knights slipped to 1-2 on the year, while the Giants improved to 3-1.

This classic match was dominated by defense, especially in the opening session. Berkeley College was held to just seven shots in the first 45 minutes of action, while Keystone registered just four. Neither team was able to break through for the first goal in the first stanza.

Seven minutes into the second half, at 51:21, it was Keystone's Sebastian Bonilla notching an unassisted goal, which turned out to be the lone tally of the day, and the match-winner.

Berkeley was only able to must two shots in the final 45 minutes of action, and the Knights' scoreless streak is now at 185:13, dating back to the season-opener.

Dario Cruz-Sepulveda made five stops despite taking the loss in net for Berkeley, while Erick Gomez made six saves in recording the shutout for the Giants.

The Knights will look to snap their two-match losing skid on Monday afternoon, as Berkeley will travel to Hackettstown, NJ to face Centenary College. Start-time at J.E. Reeves Jr. Field is scheduled for 4:00pm.
